Direct Support Professional

Now hiring Part-Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team in Mounds View. We provide personal care and assisted living services to adults with mobility impairments and/or traumatic brain injuries (TBI), helping them live successfully and independently.

About the role

As a DSP, you will assist with activities of daily living, medication administration, personal cares, meal preparation, and other duties to meet the needs and improve the quality of life for the individuals we serve.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and housekeeping services
• Assist residents with independent living skills
• Provide written and/or electronic communication
• Accompany residents to appointments via van transport when necessary

Requirements

• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse range of individuals
• Demonstrated customer-service approach
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to self-motivate
• Ability to effectively manage time and shift priorities
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English for accurate communication and documentation
• Must pass a background check and meet other employment requirements
• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Physical requirements must be met
• Drug test required
