Direct Support Professional

About the role

At Able2, you will work as a Direct Support Professional providing care and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a team‑oriented group home setting. You will help develop healthy habits and essential daily living skills, teaching individuals to be more independent in their day‑to‑day life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care including bathing, toileting, feeding, and dressing.
• Maintain all aspects of daily living skills.
• Ensure individuals are properly cared for.
• Assist in developing healthy habits and essential daily living skills.
• Support individuals to become more independent.

Requirements

• No prior experience required; Able2 provides detailed, on‑the‑job paid training.
• Dedicated, empathetic, and willing to work as a team.

Skills

• Valid/Clean Driver’s License (preferred, not required)
• Verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as a team
• Ability to work in a high‑paced work environment

Pay

Competitive hourly rate ranging from $20.45 to $21.65 per hour, depending on experience, with possible additional differentials for AMAP certification and driver eligibility.
