What You'll Do
Help support individuals with intellectual and physical disabilities in their everyday moments and big life events.
As a Support Buddy, you'll provide encouragement and guide others as they build independence, develop new skills, and work towards their goals.
You'll assist your buddy develop skills in areas such as:
- Personal safety
- Money management
- Social and communication skills
- Healthy lifestyle habits
- Community involvement
- Household and homemaking tasks
- Fine and gross motor skill development
- Goal achievement and daily living skills
Qualifications
- No previous experience required, all training is provided.
- Caregiving, patient, and reliable.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
- Part-Time: 10-15 hours per week
- Monday-Friday between 2:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. (flexible scheduling within these hours)
- Two weekends per month—choose the weekends that fit your schedule.
Pay
$15.00 per hour
