Direct Support Associate

In this role, you’ll work alongside adults with diverse abilities and needs, supporting them as they engage in meaningful, integrative activities that promote independence.
About the role
You’ll gain hands-on experience by assisting individuals during vocational tasks, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other community-based activities. Your responsibilities will vary from providing supervision to offering hand-over-hand assistance, ensuring each person receives the support they need to succeed.
If you have experience as a Direct Support Professional, Caregiver, or Support Counselor, or you’re eager to begin a rewarding career in Human Services, this role is for you!
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with diverse abilities and needs in community-based activities
- Provide supervision and hand-over-hand assistance as required
- Support engagement in vocational tasks, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other integrative activities
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
- High School Diploma or GED
Pay
$19 hourly. Advance your career through our DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an extra $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.
Schedule
This is a full-time, 30 hour/week role, Monday - Friday 9am - 3pm.
