Direct Support Associate

About the role

We’re seeking Direct Support Associates to help individuals with diverse abilities and needs thrive in their communities. In this role you’ll support adults during vocational tasks, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other community-based activities, providing supervision and hands-on assistance so each person can succeed.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals with meaningful, integrative activities that promote independence
• Provide supervision and hand-over-hand assistance as needed during vocational, educational, and recreational tasks
• Support participants during cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other community-based activities

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance
• High School Diploma or GED

Pay

$19 per hour; advance your career through the DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an extra $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.

Schedule

Full-time, 30 hours/week, Monday–Friday, first shift.
