Direct Support Associate
About the role
Join our program as a Direct Support Associate and help individuals thrive in their communities. In this role, you’ll work alongside adults with diverse abilities and needs, supporting them as they engage in meaningful, integrative activities that promote independence. You’ll assist individuals during vocational tasks, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other community-based activities, providing supervision or hand-over-hand assistance to ensure each person receives the support they need to succeed.
This is a full-time, 30 hour/week role in our Day Program. If you're looking for more hours, we can offer up to 10 additional hours in a residential home for a full 40-hour schedule.
Responsibilities
- Support adults with diverse abilities and needs in community-based activities.
- Assist individuals during vocational tasks, cooking classes, yoga sessions, and other integrative activities.
- Provide supervision or hand-over-hand assistance as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience as a Direct Support Professional, Caregiver, or Support Counselor (or eagerness to begin a career in Human Services).
Pay
$23/hr. Advance your career through our DSP Career Progression Pathway and earn up to an extra $1.50/hour by completing all three levels.

- Monday: 6:45 AM - 12:45 PM
- Tuesday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Wednesday: 6:45 AM - 12:45 PM
- Thursday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
- Friday: 6:45 AM - 12:45 PM
