About the role

The Direct Sales Agent Lead Specialist is responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a retail store’s team members to attain sales goals in the assigned store, emphasizing customer satisfaction and profitable growth. This role also implements new business and marketing strategies to grow and retain the current customer base, and coordinates the activities of store staff in areas such as sales reporting, sales administration, and workforce scheduling.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth by engaging with interested prospective customers through inbound calls and proactive outbound calls with active insurance shoppers
  • Sell reputable products from Allstate and our family of brands
  • Grow and retain the current customer base by implementing new business and marketing strategies
  • Coordinate the activities of store staff in areas such as sales reporting, sales administration, and workforce scheduling

Requirements

  • 0 – 2 years of experience
  • P&C licensing (Preferred) or must attain required licensure within 90 days of joining the company

Preferred Skills and Competencies

  • Successfully closes sales of insurance and ancillary products
  • Mets and exceeds sales goals through new product sales, cross-sell / retention of customers
  • Leverages community contacts (natural market) to continually build a sales pipeline, as well as an active physical presence in your own community to build multiple centers of influence/referral sources (car dealerships, local events, community organizations, etc.)
  • Initiates outbound calling to established target customer base for product offerings
  • Makes suggestions on initiatives that could improve the company’s position in the marketplace
  • Works with Direct Sales Leadership to plan, implement, and manage marketing and sales processes to achieve production and growth goals
  • Delivers optimal results within appropriate metrics, including quality, quantity, timeliness, productivity, customer satisfaction and financial performance, including compliance with all rules, procedures, and standards consistent with the manager’s supervision
  • Understands, promotes, and remains current on company underwriting guidelines, announcements, and memos related to changes in company policies and procedures
  • Receives customer payments, issues receipt and verifies reports of receipts for cash drawers

Compensation

Base compensation: $20.00 per hour
Total Compensation: In addition to the base hourly rate, total compensation for this role may include incentive pay, such as commissions and bonuses, based on individual and team performance.
