DIRECT JUVENILE SUPPORT WORKER - PART TIME

About the role

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Direct Juvenile Support Worker at The Harrisburg Juvenile Treatment Center (H.J.T.C) in Harrisburg, Arkansas.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person safety and security around-the-clock.
• Mentor and skill develop each youth through individual support.
• Monitor and document behaviors and activities.
• Assist with educational, social, athletic and recreational activities.
• Collaborate with other professional staff to meet each youth's treatment plan goals.

Requirements

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Pass a criminal background check, drug, physical, and TB test.
• Pass a search of the child and adult abuse central registry.

Qualifications

Skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of trauma-responsive practices.

Benefits

• Eligible for a 1,000-dollar bonus upon completion of Essential Skills Training.
• Pay: $17.75 - $18.82 per hour based on education and experience.
• Schedule includes 4 hours of guaranteed overtime each pay period.
