Direct Care Workers

About the role

We are seeking full-time Direct Care Workers for all shifts at Homestead of Knoxville. Our mission is to provide a supportive and family-oriented environment where residents can thrive.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to facility residents for their activities of daily living
• Assist with housekeeping and laundry duties
• Mealtime service
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director

Requirements

• Certified Medication Aide or completion of the 10 hr medication manager course upon hire

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Skills

• Strong communication skills
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with compassion and professionalism
