About the role
Responsible for providing direct care services to clients in residential settings. Duties include assisting with daily living activities, administering medications, and monitoring client health.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal hygiene and meal preparation
- Administer prescribed medications and record dosages
- Maintain cleanliness and order in living areas
- Monitor clients' health and report any changes to supervisors
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Good physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Knowledge of first aid and CPR
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer literacy
