Direct Care Supervisor

Position Summary

The Direct Care Supervisor is responsible for the overall management and handling of day-to-day operations of the Residential Community Living home. The Supervisor is responsible for the direct supervision of community home staff, scheduling, training staff, performance reviews, oversight of care provided to individuals with special needs, assisting with caregiving duties as needed, documentation such as fire drills, client progress notes, medication administration, etc. The goal is to improve the quality of life for each person by assisting them to live as independently as possible in their home and community.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma / GED and three (3) years experience working in a human service, direct care, caregiver, TSS, Home Health Aide, C.N.A., DSP, or related position
• Current driver's license
• Obtain a Medication Administration Certification within 6 months of hire
• First Aid/CPR certified within 6 months of hire
• Lift, push, pull, or move up to 200 lbs. with assistance
