Responsibilities

  • Comprehensive training in crisis prevention/intervention, trauma-informed care, CPR, and first aid.
  • Provide quality care and motivation to the children and adolescents we serve.
  • Supervise Direct Support Professionals and provide mentorship.
  • Implement programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of clients.
  • Aid, support, and instruct individuals in self-help skills designed to encourage independence.
  • Establish and maintain a therapeutic rapport with individuals.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of supervisory experience preferred (degree); or four (4) years of supervisory experience in a mental health related discipline required (non-degree).
  • Direct care experience with the I/DD (intellectual/developmental disabilities) population, specifically children and adolescents preferred.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; leadership, relationship management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
  • Strong technical skills and ability to utilize in-house computer applications.
  • Valid Driver's License and satisfactory drug screen and background check results.
  • On-call, weekend availability and some holidays required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in the field of counseling, mental health, social work, psychology/sociology, rehabilitation, special education, or human services field preferred; OR some college education with 60 college credits in human services preferred.

Pay

$24.00 per hour. Additional compensation for experience and bachelor's degree or higher.

Schedule

  • 1st shift: 6:30am-3:15pm
  • 2nd shift: 2:30pm-11:00pm
  • 3rd shift: 10:45pm-7:15am
