Direct Care Supervisor

About the role

The Supervisor provides high-quality care to individuals, ensuring they are treated with respect and dignity. The role focuses on improving the quality of life for each individual by assisting them in learning to live and function as independently as possible in their home and community. The Supervisor oversees and manages the day-to-day activities of the Community Home and directly supervises all house staff, functioning as part of the direct care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care to individuals, ensuring respect and dignity.
• Assist individuals in developing independence in their home and community.
• Oversee and manage daily activities of the Community Home.
• Directly supervise all house staff.
• Function as a Residential Companion within the direct care team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Three (3) years' experience working in a human service or related field.
• Current driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to lift 200 lbs with assistance.
• Must be able to obtain clearances (FBI, child abuse, and PA criminal).
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Associate Degree or equivalent credits (60) and 2 years of experience in a human service, Special Education, or related field.
• Bachelor's Degree and 1 year of experience in a human service or related field.
• Supervisory experience.
• Knowledge of 6400, 6500, and/or 2380 regulations (or equivalent regulations).

Schedule

This full-time position works daylight shifts, 7 am to 3 pm.
