Essential Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to adults with developmental disabilities
• Teach and encourage independent living skills, including cooking, budgeting, cleaning, and personal hygiene
• Support clients in achieving personal goals and increasing independence
• Assist with community outings, appointments, and daily activities
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
• Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment

Qualifications

• Required: Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle with current insurance, clean driving record, ability to work throughout Santa Cruz County, ability to pass a background check in accordance with state requirements, basic computer skills, including email, Microsoft Word, and data entry
• Preferred: Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral challenges, previous caregiving, direct support, or behavioral health experience

Pay & Perks

• $19.50 - $21.00 per hour
