Direct Care Staff

Part-time position with available shift Monday - Friday, 9am to 2pm.

Pay

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

• Accrued sick time
• Mileage reimbursement

About the role

Spread Your Wings, LLC provides Supported Living Services (SLS) to create a safe and supportive environment for our clients. We tailor our support to each person's specific needs and desires, ensuring they live the life they want, and as independently as possible.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation
• Able to work in the Calistoga area
• Able to pass a background check per state industry standards
• Digital literacy: MS Word, email, basic data entry

Responsibilities

• Assist clients in building independent living skills (e.g., cooking, budgeting, hygiene)
• Encourage, motivate, and support clients with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges
• Help plan, create, and organize tasks and schedules that promote goal achievement for your clients
• Provide consistent documentation of progress through case notes

Qualifications

• Have a heart for helping others and believe in treating people with dignity and respect
• Are a strong communicator, dependable, and a creative problem-solver
• Can problem solve and adapt to different client needs
• Are comfortable working independently in one-on-one settings
• Behavioral health experience (preferred, not required)
