What You Need
- High school diploma or GED
- Age 21 or older
- One year experience working with children or families
- Clean driving record
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work with youth experiencing trauma-related behaviors
- Show strong communication skills, including writing for case notes
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Set appropriate limits and boundaries with youth
- Handle confidential issues with care
- Maintain energy and flexibility to meet changing needs
- Manage multiple tasks and make sound decisions
- Observe individuals and report accurately
- Handle emergencies and follow protocols
- Build trusting relationships with youth
- Show sensitivity to cultural and socioeconomic characteristics of the service population
