About the Role
Direct Care Professionals provide assistance with daily activities and ensure a structured routine for adults with developmental disabilities in a residential program. This role involves supporting individuals through community integration and personal care.
Responsibilities
- Support individuals with developmental disabilities in a residential setting
- Assist with daily activities and maintain a structured routine
- Facilitate individual community outings (e.g., movies, shopping, dining, baseball games, bowling)
- Prepare meals
- Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
- Accompany individuals to medical appointments
- Distribute medication
Requirements
- Compassionate personality with a desire to make a difference in someone’s life
- High school diploma or GED preferred but not required
- Qualifying criminal background check and driving record
- Valid driver’s license and use of a personal vehicle
- TB screening and physical required upon hire; TB update every two years thereafter

Qualifications
While not required, candidates with an interest in CNA, PCA, or HHA work are encouraged to apply. Students in Human Services, Psychology, and Sociology programs are also encouraged to apply (tuition assistance is available).
Pay
$21.00 per hour. $22.00 per hour after one year of benefit-eligible employment.
Schedule
- Wednesday: 1:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Thursday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Friday: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Part-time, full-time, relief/per diem, and 2nd/3rd shift positions are available. Openings in Mansfield, Taunton, Fall River, and surrounding areas.
