The Role
This position will lead the Radiological Control Program for the Nuclear Propulsion Engineering organization. A candidate will ensure that all applicable RadCon procedures and requirements are followed to ensure radiological safety for NNS personnel and the environment. A candidate must be knowledgeable of NAVSEA radiological control requirements as well.
Responsibilities

- Manage and direct the work of others to maintain radiological safety

Requirements
- BS in Engineering and 10 years engineering experience OR MS in Engineering and 8 years of relevant engineering experience
- Candidate's degree must be from an ABET accredited program in the school of engineering
Qualifications
- Sound leadership, managerial, and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage and direct the work of others
Skills
- Knowledge of NAVSEA radiological control requirements
- Excellent human relations and communication skills
