The Role

This position will lead the Radiological Control Program for the Nuclear Propulsion Engineering organization. A candidate will ensure that all applicable RadCon procedures and requirements are followed to ensure radiological safety for NNS personnel and the environment. A candidate must be knowledgeable of NAVSEA radiological control requirements as well.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all applicable RadCon procedures and requirements

Requirements

• BS in Engineering and 10 years engineering experience OR MS in Engineering and 8 years of relevant engineering experience
• Candidate's degree must be from an ABET accredited program in the school of engineering

Qualifications

• Sound leadership, managerial, and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to manage and direct the work of others

Skills

• Knowledge of NAVSEA radiological control requirements
• Excellent human relations and communication skills

$211,000.00 to $270,000.00
