About the role
The Director of Case Management leads a team of clinical professionals in cross continuum care coordination. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing the case management process, supervising clinical case managers and social workers, promoting quality patient care outcomes, and facilitating multidisciplinary case management processes.
Responsibilities
- Develops and implements the case management process
- Covers the duties of clinical case managers and social workers
- Promotes quality patient care outcomes
- Supports appropriate utilization/resources management
- Facilitates the multidisciplinary case management process
- Coordinates the development and implementation of tools and systems for effective, efficient case management
- Works with market leaders, physicians, peers, community colleagues, system leaders, and others to identify opportunities to continually improve patient care and services
- Executes collaborative practices that exemplify MultiCare Health System's commitment to patient-centered care and community engagement
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in health-related field
- Current Registered Nurse license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)
- Eight (8) years clinical experience, acute care case management experience preferred
- Five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience
- Risk mitigation, financial and reimbursement experience
- Non-RN Directors are grandfathered into this role

Pay and Benefits
We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, and paid time off. The pay scale is $177,428.16 - $246,317.76 USD. Associated benefit information can be viewed here.
