About the role

Lead a student‑focused dining program serving approximately 2,100 students across five schools in Washougal, WA. The Director of Dining Services oversees menus, food purchasing, budgeting, inventory, compliance, and daily operations, ensuring nutritious, high‑quality meals. The role works closely with district leaders, principals, and school staff while supporting a team of about 21 frontline employees.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire the team of frontline associates.
• Drive strategic initiatives to enhance customer satisfaction and increase profitability.
• Recruit, train, and develop top talent within the organization.
• Own the annual budget and control costs optimally.
• Ensure adherence to quality, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Build strong relationships with clients, customers, and associates.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support efficient dining service operations.

Preferred qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Management, Hospitality, Culinary, or equivalent experience.
• Three or more years of foodservice management experience.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract‑managed services experience.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with computer applications.

Pay

Salary range: $85,000 – $91,500 per year.

Additional compensation: annual bonus incentive up to 15%, paid time off, 401(k) retirement plan, and medical, dental, and vision insurance.
