About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Director, Commercial Planning & Business Performance to build and lead the commercial planning capabilities that power strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and sustainable revenue growth at Jubilant Radiopharma. This highly visible leadership role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer and partners with senior leaders across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, Customer Service, Legal, Compliance, and Operations.

The ideal candidate is a strategic commercial leader with deep expertise in commercial planning, forecasting, pricing and contracting, sales force effectiveness, analytics, and business performance management within the pharmaceutical, biotech, specialty therapeutics, or healthcare sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and continuously improve core planning, pricing, reporting, governance, tools, and performance routines that support business visibility, disciplined execution, stronger accountability, and sustainable growth.
  • Manage customer pricing, contracting, discounting, and deal review processes in partnership with Sales, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and Market Access to align customer offers and contract terms with business goals and financial expectations.
  • Support government pricing, ASP, reimbursement, and other required commercial reporting with Finance, Legal, Compliance, and external advisors, maintaining clear documentation and reliable data.
  • Maintain practical controls, SOPs, documentation, and review practices that support compliant execution, reliable commercial data, and consistent performance management.
  • Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and other teams to support supply forecasting, including demand assumptions, volume trends, and net revenue considerations.
  • Manage customer targeting, segmentation, call planning support, and territory alignment inputs using commercial data, market insights, and account-level analytics.
  • Coordinate incentive compensation processes, including rule setup, data validation, crediting support, payout calculations, and field communication with Sales Leadership, Finance, and HR.
  • Support sales training, onboarding, field tools, product and process training, and communication plans in collaboration with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Medical, Compliance, and HR.
  • Provide clear, timely reporting on sales performance, customer trends, forecasting inputs, pricing and contracting activity, and key business metrics, translating data into practical recommendations.
  • Partner with IT, Finance, and commercial teams to improve CRM, ERP, business intelligence, contract management, workflow, and analytics tools, identifying opportunities to simplify processes and improve data quality.
  • Work closely with cross-functional leaders to ensure commercial execution aligns with business priorities and customer needs.
  • Build and coach a strong team, setting clear priorities, expectations, and ways of working that support accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial planning, commercial operations, sales operations, pricing and contracting, forecasting, business analytics, or related functions within pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, specialty therapeutics, healthcare, or radiopharmaceuticals.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including coaching, talent development, performance management, and organizational planning.
  • Demonstrated success building and leading commercial planning, forecasting, analytics, or commercial excellence functions.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Deep knowledge of commercial planning processes, demand forecasting, business performance management, revenue analytics, and commercial strategy.
  • Strong experience with pricing and contracting, customer agreements, deal review processes, and profitability analysis.
  • Experience supporting government pricing, ASP reporting, reimbursement-related activities, and commercial compliance requirements.
  • Expertise in sales force effectiveness, incentive compensation, territory design, customer segmentation, and targeting strategies.
  • Proven ability to influence senior executives and lead cross-functional initiatives in complex, matrixed organizations.
  • Strong financial acumen and the ability to translate complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Experience with CRM, ERP, business intelligence, analytics, and commercial technology platforms.
