About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Dir, Business Development, Federal - Remote to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will drive growth across federal accounts by shaping business development strategy, advancing opportunities through the pipeline, and supporting capture and proposal efforts. The position partners closely with internal teams, external partners, and client stakeholders to strengthen bid outcomes and support revenue goals in a highly regulated market. The ideal candidate will bring deep federal business development experience, the ability to build decision-ready materials, and a collaborative approach to guiding process improvement and team development.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,230 – $178,890 annually

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute growth strategies tailored to federal accounts and opportunities
  • Manage federal business development pipeline activities, ensuring all processes align with SOPs
  • Lead the creation of gate reviews with insights for informed decision-making in business development
  • Support capture and proposal managers by contributing to solution development and strategy
  • Guide less experienced personnel while promoting continuous improvement in business development processes
  • Build relationships with clients, partners, and internal teams to bolster bid success
  • Deliver presentations on strategy and performance to executive leadership

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of business development experience in federal programs such as health and workforce support
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field
  • Knowledge of federal acquisition processes with experience engaging civilian and defense agency stakeholders
  • Ability to develop account and opportunity strategies aligned with market needs and revenue goals
  • Experience leading opportunity identification and qualification and preparing decision-ready materials
  • Effective collaboration with internal teams, industry partners, and client stakeholders
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools like Salesforce
