Responsibilities

  • Generates revenue through investing in expansion projects
  • Directs and controls the development and implementation of sophisticated projects, business ventures, and transactions; collaborates with business partners to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget
  • Establishes and maintains partnerships with customers
  • Identifies, evaluates, and recommends business opportunities
  • Interacts with customers of all levels of an organization
  • Provides updates to senior leadership
  • Develops/manages budgets, plans, and forecasts; conducts regular cost analysis
  • Coordinates workforce planning and career development for direct employees
  • Leads a group of business professionals responsible for all business development activities
  • Develops and implements strategies to expand business and take advantage of market opportunities
  • Negotiates complex business transactions that meet Williams’ business and financial objectives
  • Manages commercial aspects of projects from inception through in-service
  • Interacts with all levels of management both internally and at customer companies to build long-term relationships and develop business opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (required)
  • Minimum ten (10) years’ relevant industry experience
  • Previous experience leading teams across multiple subject areas focused on acquiring or developing major projects
  • Extensive experience in sophisticated commercial negotiation
  • History of successfully developing and closing sophisticated transactions
  • Ability to positively influence high-level decision makers
  • Extensive knowledge of the energy industry
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Safety as the utmost priority
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills

Qualifications

  • MBA, CPA, or PE (preferred)
