Diplomingenieur/in (FH) / Bachelor (m/w/d)
About the role
We are an environmental authority responsible for water-related topics in the Main-Rhön region in north-eastern Unterfranken. We are seeking to hire a Diplomingenieur (FH) / Bachelor of Engineering or Science (m/w/d) from the fields of Bau-/ Umweltingenieurwesen, Wasserwirtschaft, Wassertechnologie, Umweltsicherung, or comparable fields for the preparation service for the third qualification level of the career ladder: Naturwissenschaft und Technik, with a focus on technical and environmental administration services - Water Management.
Responsibilities
- Participate in a 15-month training program in a civil servant status (similar to a trainee program)
- Paid according to the Bavarian Salary Law, with starting salary based on the entry-level salary grade A10
- Upon successful completion of the preparation service, transition to a probationary civil servant status in the salary grade A10 of the Bavarian Salary Ordinance
- Work independently in a qualified team

Requirements
- A successfully completed university degree as Diplomingenieur (FH) or Bachelor of Engineering or Science (m/w/d) in the fields of Bau-/ Umweltingenieurwesen, Wasserwirtschaft, Wassertechnologie, Umweltsicherung, or comparable field
- Compliance with general civil servant legal requirements (e.g., citizenship of a member state of the EU, health suitability, the 45th birthday must not have been reached at the start of the preparation service and the planned transition to the civil servant status on probation)
- The willingness to complete the preparation service in a civil servant status on probation and undergo the qualification examination
- Application skills in standard software (MS Office) and willingness to attend further training in specific IT applications (e.g., GIS, Water Atlas)
- Openness and readiness to face new challenges, strong interest in water management topics
- Ability to work independently and conduct constructive discussions, willingness to undertake external duties
- Flexibility, mental resilience, and teamwork skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, German language proficiency, minimum C1 level
- Driver's license class B and willingness to drive a company car
