About the role

All new hires will complete training on the 1st shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday. Training may last up to 15 weeks. After completing training, you will move to the hired shift.

Responsibilities

  • Complete routine set-up and changeover of machines, adjusting as needed to process operations accordingly.
  • Run orders per product specifications and standard practices.
  • Sort, label, and package products per customer specifications, quality requirements, and standard practices.
  • Perform tests and check products routinely for multiple characteristics using standard measuring tools, calipers, micrometers etc.
  • Understand and implement quality standards and procedures.
  • Meet production schedules and program production sequences for optimal productivity.
  • Follow standard operating procedures and specifications or instructions of higher-level technical personnel and monitor meters, gauges, valves, flow ratios, temperatures, pressures, and related controls and guidelines to ensure adherence to production/process specifications.
  • Maintain production records and logs of equipment and product performance.
  • Maintain work area with necessary supplies to complete processes - 4S+ standard work.
  • Operate heavy equipment necessary to move, load, and ship material and/or finished products throughout the manufacturing environment.
  • Support inventory accuracy by completing cycle counts and correct discrepancies to achieve business goals.
  • Aid and support other team members in meeting department and site goals.
  • Contribute and participate in team decision making processes including problem solving and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Provide support in project work and other special requests.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.

Requirements

  • 6 months to 1 year of related experience and/or training, OR a 1-year technical certificate, OR equivalent combination.
  • Machine aptitude (preferred).
  • Troubleshooting experience (preferred).
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to:
    • Lift up to 25 lbs repeatedly and 100 lbs occasionally.
    • Stand for extended periods.
    • Walk, bend, twist, and use hands frequently.
    • Work in high temperatures (100–120°F near machines).

Qualifications

  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
  • Manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay

  • Starting Pay: 1st Shift: $21.00/hr
  • 2nd Shift: $22.00/hr
  • 3rd Shift: $23.00/hr

Schedule

  • 1st Shift: 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
  • 2nd Shift: 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m., Monday–Friday
  • 3rd Shift: 10:30 p.m. – 7:00 a.m., Sunday-Thursday
