Dip Operator Trainee (84281,84955)
Responsibilities
- Transports blocks to dip tanks, places block in dip basket, and activates specified dip program.
- Removes dipped blocks from tanks, delivers blocks to ovens, and activates specified bake programs.
- Removes baked blocks from ovens and stages them for further processing.
- Adds resin and alcohol to dip tanks as needed.
- Calculates and records the amount of alcohol and resin used per block.
- Weighs blocks before and after dipping, and records on work order and/or dipping software.
- Sets oven temperature controls and places dipped blocks in oven to bake and dry for specified time.
- Records densities and all other necessary information on work order and/or dipping software.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Good math skills
- One or two years of related experience and/or training
- Forklift Certification a plus
- Satisfactory Lung Capacity Test to properly use Respiratory Protection as needed/required
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English well
- Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs.
