Dip Operator (85643)

Responsibilities

• Turns afterburner and Nomex oven on/off as required.
• Uses programs for dipping loaves.
• Adds resin and alcohol to tank as needed.
• Cleans dipping frames and tank as needed.
• Calculates and records the amount of alcohol and resin used per block.
• Weighs loaves before and after dipping, and records on work order.
• Sets oven temperature controls and places dipped units in oven to bake and dry for specified time.
• Records densities and all other necessary information on work order.
• Reports labor and issues material to Visual software.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma
• Good math skills
• One or two years of related experience and/or training
• Forklift Certification a plus
• Acceptable Spirometry Test results (full/half respirator use)
• Must be able to lift, push & pull a minimum of 50 lbs
• Must have English reading and verbal communication skills sufficient to read, understand and communicate the company operating procedures and policies
• Must be available to work the shift specified by the position and be flexible to potential overtime on weekends/ holidays
