Responsibilities
- Monitor the operation of the densifier equipment and ensure product adheres to company standards of safety, quality, and throughput
- Support, demonstrate and promote Pregis’ core values: integrity, collaboration, customer focus and innovation
- Adhere to the highest standards of company safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations including all personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
- Maintain housekeeping throughout assigned shift to ensure an orderly and safe environment
- Conduct physical and visual inspection of product to prevent non-conforming goods
- Maintain appropriate level of production supplies/materials as required to ensure next shift operators incur minimal downtime
- Meet or exceed production rates and meet all customer requirements
- Set up and adjust unwinds, neatly palletize skids with finished product, and acquire knowledge/skills of Set-up to better assist and troubleshoot when needed
- Attend meetings and complete safety trainings as required, and coordinate the removal of finished materials from the line
- Assist on other assets as needed and operate the NGR pelletizer
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned and drive a Powered Industrial Truck

Work Environment
Exposure to moving equipment, inside work, heat may exceed 90 degrees Fahrenheit, humidity may exceed 80%, and noise may exceed 85dB+.
Frequent standing, stooping, squatting, up to 75%, frequent lifting, pushing, pulling (up to 50 lbs), and occasional typing/keyboarding/preparing documents.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required, minimum 1 year manufacturing experience preferred.
Schedule
Full-time position, shift work: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, overtime expected per business demand.
