DINING SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR (FULL TIME)

About the role

Morrison Healthcare is hiring a full-time DINING SYSTEMS SUPERVISOR at Le Bonheur Children Hospital. The position requires one year of dining systems and supervisory experience and offers a pay range of $12.00 to $17.00 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Nutrition Operators, Workstation and Wait Staff Associates.
• Oversees systems and processes to ensure the strategic and operational objectives of the Dining on Call service are accomplished.
• Aids in the selection and orientation of employees and oversees the training of Dining on Call staff.
• Ensures compliance with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to meet patient food preferences within diet order limitations.
• Develops and implements action plans within the Dining on Call service as necessary.
• Coordinates and oversees daily and weekly activities/tasks performed by Dining on Call staff.
• Updates and communicates job flow changes for Dining on Call positions as applicable.
• Communicates with nursing to ensure patients' diet prescriptions are accurate and meets patient food needs.
• Reports any patient-related problems or concerns to appropriate personnel in a timely manner following departmental procedures.
• Sets up and distributes food supplies to ensure quality and safety of the food supply.
• Visits patients on assigned nursing units or areas to ensure every patient is visited by a member of the management or professional team at least once during their hospital stay.

Requirements

One year of dining systems and supervisory experience preferred.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college education preferred.

Pay

$12.00 per hour to $17.00 per hour.

Schedule

Full time schedule; days and hours may vary. Weekends required. More details upon interview.
