About the role

As a Dining Services Hospitality Associate, you will serve customers in an efficient and courteous manner, working in front or back of the house positions such as food production, serving, cashier, barista, or commissary prep. You will collaborate with management and coworkers to uphold the Villanova and Dining Services Mission Statements, focusing on core values: Safety and Sanitation, Friendly Courteous Service, and Excellence.
Responsibilities
- Set-up, maintain, and break down all service lines.
- Prepare and/or cook food for cold production, pizza, and grill lines.
- Stock, rotate, and replenish merchandise as needed.
- Back of the house production including salad and fruit bars, deli prep, desserts, and commissary items.
- Serve customers at sandwich, salad, pizza, grill, Holy Grounds, or register stations, ensuring proper portions and adherence to safety and sanitation practices.
- Clean and sanitize food equipment, dining room tables, and chairs.
- Work special events or weekends as required.
- Assist in the dish room area, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash/recycling.
- Perform additional duties as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Requirements
- Basic reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills and personal hygiene habits.
- Ability to follow directions, complete tasks with minimal supervision, and interact with people constantly.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 10 pounds independently and up to 40 pounds with assistance.
- Ability to withstand extreme temperatures.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of food service safety and sanitation.
- ServSafe Training and Allergy Awareness Training.

Pay

Sunday – Thursday, 4:00 PM – 1:00 AM. Start date on or after June 1, 2026.
