About the role

Come work for us this School Year! Your application will be considered for a position working in all Dining operations & positions, including The Hub, All Cafes, Convenience Stores, Bakery, Catering, and Residential Dining Halls at Utah State University. Location of hire will be based on final interview, with requests considered. Positions range from Prep Cooks and Bakers to Cashiers and Baristas. USU Dining seeks people who will create an excellent college experience and provide quality service to all customers, go the extra mile to be a strong, dedicated employee, and continually grow and adapt to a fast work environment.

Responsibilities

• Food serving
• Food preparation
• Great customer service
• Dishwashing and cleaning tasks
• Stocking
• Delivering food
• Cashiering

Qualifications

• Food handlers permit is required within the first 30 days of employment
• Basic customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and solve problems

Pay

Advertised salary: $11.00 per hour.

Schedule

• Shifts may start as early as 6 AM or run as late as midnight
• Largest need is between 10 AM and 2 PM
• Shifts typically cannot be less than a 3‑hour open block of time
• All positions require some weekend shifts
• Employees are expected to equally share weekend coverage, including Friday nights, Saturdays, and Sundays
