Campus Dining Attendant
CU Boulder’s Campus Dining and Hospitality team is seeking a Campus Dining Attendant to provide operational support to both front-of-house and back-of-house dining service operations. You’ll practice safe food handling, follow standardized procedures, and deliver excellent customer service in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities
- Back of House (BOH) Production
- Prepare and assemble ingredients for recipes (entrees, starches, vegetables, and soups from raw state) using a variety of equipment and cooking techniques.
- Clean prep areas, equipment, and dishes following proper sanitation methods.
- Assist with setup, maintenance, and breakdown of production and service areas.
- Front of House (FOH) Production
- Set up and tend to drink stations, service lines, dish rooms, dining rooms, and courtesy stands.
- Stock and replenish service ware.
- Follow all sustainability and recycling procedures.
- Sanitize high-contact surfaces.
- Safety/Sanitation
- Follow set food safety guidelines and all A9 labeling and ParTech procedures.
- Clean seating areas, furniture, floors, and fixtures; attend to the dish room.
- Serve on the food safety response team and respond to food safety emergencies as assigned.
- Customer Service
- Provide excellent customer service and make empowered decisions within your span of control.
- Train new staff members, including full-time and student employees.
- Follow CDH uniform guidelines and personnel hygiene standards.
This position is 100% on-campus and may be subject to changes in location or shift schedule.
Requirements
- One year of experience related to the job assignment (equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute).
- Must obtain food safety certification appropriate for the position level within 6 months of hire and maintain it for the duration of employment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

- One year of food services work experience.

Pay
The annual salary for this position is $39,852.80.
This position is designated as “essential services,” requiring the incumbent to respond to campus emergencies (e.g., snow, wind, flood) and report to work during emergency campus closures for their regularly assigned shift.
