About the role

As a member of MetroHealth’s Dining Services team, you will support patients and caregivers by preparing and serving restaurant-quality meals in their state-of-the-art facility.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals to patients and customers in a timely manner.
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
• Perform various food service duties to meet customer satisfaction.
• Interact effectively with a diverse range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Requirements

• Demonstrated ability to read and write English.
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math computations.
• Physical requirements include sitting, standing, stooping, bending, and ambulating intermittently during the day.
• May need to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Requires some exposure to chemicals and cleaning products.
• Requires exposure to warm and cold temperatures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of cultural, ethnic, racial, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
