Dining Room Server Senior Living

About the role

As a Dining Room Server at Belmont Village Senior Living, you will play an active role in ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and an exceptional dining experience throughout each meal and special event. You will work collaboratively with our Dining Room Coordinator and other Dining Room Servers to provide hands-on table service and assist with special event meal service in our Assisted Living community.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and personalized dining service to a group of assigned tables in our on-site restaurant, ensuring a positive dining experience.
• Take accurate orders, offer menu recommendations, and deliver food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure orders are served at the correct temperature, with proper presentation and accuracy.
• Prepare and set up the dining room for service, ensuring flatware, condiments, and beverages are always ready.
• Assist with meal service at special events and celebrations held within the Belmont Village community.
• Maintain cleanliness of the Dining Room and assigned tables, ensuring guest needs are met throughout each meal.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to communicate clearly in verbal and written English.
• Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Must be able to efficiently multi-task, be an active listener, and collaborate effectively with team members.
• Demonstrates a willingness to learn and work in a hands-on, hospitality-oriented position.
• Prior Restaurant Server experience is preferred.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential for all Belmont Village employees to ensure the successful operation of the community.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check.

Pay

This position is a flat hourly pay without tips.

Schedule

Part time and Full time shifts.
