About the role

The Guest Relations team at the House of Blues ensures a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role involves greeting guests, managing wait times, and providing information about upcoming shows and events.

Responsibilities

• Greet all guests promptly and courteously
• Control the flow of guests entering the restaurant and those waiting for a table
• Obtain guests' name, party size, and any special requests
• Direct guests to appropriate locations and estimate wait times
• Place menus on tables and wait until guests are seated
• Market current and future shows, menu items, and retail products
• Answer guest questions about the menu, music hall, and artists
• Handle concert tickets and signature sheets
• Prepare production sheets and obtain member and spouse lists
• Manage foundation access lists and passes
• Ensure proper cleanliness and organization of the host area
• Assist other departments as needed

• Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
