Dining Room Attendant (Hiring more than one)

About the role

This position is designated as a “responsible employee” who has the authority to redress sexual violence, who has the duty to report incidents of sexual violence or other student misconduct, or who a student could reasonably believe has this authority or duty.

This position is a “designated position” meaning this position could potentially be required to work (depending on the event) during an emergency closing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness of the dining room
• Check and scan I.D. cards of students and take other forms of payments
• Ensure all equipment in the front of the house is working properly and ensure that all supplies are on hand, reporting shortages to FOH manager
• Monitor students and other patrons entering and exiting the facility

Skills

• Maintain a positive attitude and positive communication with patrons and co-workers
• Properly handle all forms of payments
• Work a flexible schedule

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent education/experience that equates to a high school diploma

Qualifications

• Experience working in a high-volume restaurant/fast food environment
• Experience with financial transactions, including cash handling and/or POS systems
• Customer service experience
• Experience with implementing or adhering to safety procedures
• Knowledgeable in sanitation protocols and/or maintaining cleanliness standards
• Experience working in a university or college setting

Pay

Salary: $15.53 to $19.41 per hour, commensurate with education and experience
