Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable star schemas that enable trusted, intuitive analytics across the organization.
- Define dimensions and facts for enterprise analytics use cases.
- Design and implement physical dimensional models.
- Apply Slowly Changing Dimension strategies and conformance principles.
- Partner with business stakeholders, architects, and analytics engineers to ensure clarity, performance, and long-term maintainability of analytical structures.
Solution Orientation
- Partner with business and analytics customers to understand their requirements and design data solutions to meet their needs.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, analysts, architects, and external partners to deliver new data solutions and enhancements.
- Translate business and clinical requirements into clear technical designs and implementation plans.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3–6+ years of experience in data warehousing or analytics engineering.
- Strong SQL skills and attention to modeling detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Preferred experience working with healthcare data, such as: Insurance / claims data, Clinical or EHR data, Pharmacy or PBM data.
- Familiarity with healthcare data standards, regulatory requirements, or compliance considerations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with Snowflake.
- Experience with Data Vault methodology.
- Experience operating in an Agile or DevOps-oriented delivery environment.
