Your Impact

As a Digital Systems Engineer at Formlabs, you'll design, enhance, and maintain our digital landscape, including eCommerce, CRM, Marketing, and Sales/Service platforms. You'll build new features, integrate with other systems, and ensure our digital environment performs flawlessly.

Job

Develop, configure, and customize the back-end Shopify B2B Commerce platform, including creating/enhancing Shopify Apps, Functions & Extensions, and APIs. Partner with the headless front-end teams and the Salesforce team to architect and develop key integrations, features, and functions.

Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack engineer building eCommerce or digital platforms for a B2B business
• Proven proficiency and experience in Shopify B2B, Shopify Apps, Shopify Functions & Extensions, and Shopify APIs from a back-end perspective
• Experience and understanding of enterprise integration and the complexities of integrating Shopify, Salesforce, ERP, and DWH in a fast-moving business
• Experience with Salesforce ecosystem and understanding of Apex, Lightning, Flow, Validation rules, Automations, and APIs
• Data savviness: ability to write SQL queries from scratch, and knowledge of data warehouse concepts and tools (i.e. BigQuery, etc.)
• Experience with software development and deployment tools: GitHub, Gearset, Kubernetes, etc.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, and the ability to learn and implement new technologies quickly
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Bonus Points: Shopify Verified Skills and Badges (Shopify B2B: Launch and Customization, Shopify B2B: Foundations, Discovery and Solution Design, etc.), Salesforce Developer certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II), Apex experience, Experience with iPaaS middleware or cloud-based integration functions (AWS Lambda/GCP Cloud Functions), Ability to effectively leverage AI coding tools, Familiarity with various ERP, CRM, Marketing Automation, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence systems and tools.

Compensation

The Annual Base Pay Range For This Role Is $100,000—$140,000 USD.
