Digital Solutions Manager (Recruiting Tech & Learning Platforms)

About the role

This role sits within People Experience & AI transformation and serves as the strategic technical and functional capability lead for Okta's Recruiting and Learning ecosystem. As a Digital Solutions Manager with deep expertise in enterprise systems, integrations, automation, data architecture, and AI, you will define and execute the technology vision that enables scalable hiring, workforce development, and organizational growth.

Responsibilities

  • Define & execute the roadmap for Recruiting and Learning systems, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Serve as the primary SME across ATS, CRM, LMS and AI tools.

  • Design scalable, future-ready architectures, evaluate emerging technologies, and translate complex business needs into strategic technical solutions through partnership with People Technology and Business leaders.

  • Partner with Technology teams to define requirements for integrations across systems using APIs, middleware, and data pipelines.

  • Drive automation of manual processes across recruiting and learning workflows to improve efficiency and reduce operational overhead.

  • Lead the business side of system implementations—including requirements gathering, process mapping, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and change management/readiness—while partnering with the technology team for solution design, configuration, and deployment.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to streamline workflows and improve system performance.

  • Establish and maintain data integrity standards, validation rules, and monitoring processes. Ensure data accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across systems.

  • Partner with analytics teams to align on reporting frameworks and enable actionable insights.

  • Leverage AI-enabled capabilities (e.g., candidate matching, chatbots, recommendations, content generation) to optimize recruiting and learning processes. Evaluate and implement AI-driven tools and features across systems. Identify high-impact use cases for AI to improve efficiency, personalization, and decision-making.

  • Partner with stakeholders to drive responsible and scalable adoption of AI solutions.

  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis using structured problem-solving approaches. Partner with IT and Security to ensure system reliability, compliance, and scalability.

  • Establish and document best practices for system configuration, usage, and maintenance. Maintain comprehensive technical documentation (system architecture, data flows, configurations).

  • Act as a technical subject matter expert for recruiting and learning systems within People. Partner with Recruiting and Learning & Development teams to translate business needs into technical solutions. Collaborate with Business Technology / IT on integrations, architecture, and system performance.

  • Engage with vendors and external partners to support implementations and roadmap alignment. Support global users through issue resolution, training, and documentation to drive adoption and effectiveness.

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in recruiting systems (ATS, CRM, interview platforms) and Learning Management Systems (LMS)

  • Strong experience in system configuration, architecture, and administration

  • Experience leading system implementations and managing medium-to-large complexity technical initiatives

  • Strong understanding of data models, reporting, and system governance

  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Experience leveraging automation to improve operational efficiency

  • AI fluency, including familiarity with AI/ML applications and AI-enabled features in recruiting and learning platforms

Benefits

Annual base salary range for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area: $148,000 USD - $203,500 USD

The annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington is between: $132,000 USD - $181,500 USD

Pay

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between: $148,000 USD - $203,500 USD

The annual base salary range for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York and Washington is between: $132,000 USD - $181,500 USD
