About the role

This senior leadership position within Regions' Digital team is responsible for setting and executing the enterprise digital product strategy, aligning long-term business objectives with customer needs, market trends, and emerging technologies. Additionally, this position leads multiple product teams responsible for developing and delivering innovative, scalable, and user-centric digital banking experiences across platforms while ensuring alignment with enterprise priorities and risk frameworks. This is a single incumbent position.

Responsibilities

  • Defines and drives digital product strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate goals, market opportunities, and customer needs
  • Leads the development of long-term digital product vision and roadmap, prioritizing strategic initiatives that deliver measurable business value
  • Manages and develops digital product teams, fostering a culture of strategic thinking, accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
  • Partners with executive leadership to translate business strategy into actionable product initiatives and investment priorities
  • Oversees product lifecycle management from ideation through optimization with a strong emphasis on strategic outcomes and ROI
  • Drives data-informed decision-making through product performance metrics, KPIs, and market analysis
  • Leads cross-functional collaboration across Digital, Technology, Risk, Operations, and business units to ensure successful strategy execution
  • Identifies emerging trends in digital banking to inform forward-looking strategies and innovation
  • Resolves cross-organizational prioritization challenges and accelerates delivery of high-impact initiatives
  • Acts as a change leader, promoting agile methodologies and strategic agility across teams
  • Oversees partnerships with third-party providers and ensures strategic alignment and performance
  • Partners across Technology, Operations, Digital, and Data (TODD) to ensure controls are designed, implemented, and monitored to strengthen risk management, compliance, and cyber security, effectively mitigating risk to levels within the company's risk appetite
  • Ensures disciplined change management by evaluating risk and control impacts when designing or implementing changes to processes, systems, products, and/or services

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and fourteen (14) years of experience in digital technology, product management, strategy, or business operations
  • Or High School Diploma or GED and eighteen (18) years of experience in digital technology, product management, strategy, or business operations
  • Experience developing and executing strategy
  • Experience in agile program management
  • Experience leading large-scale digital transformation and/or product initiatives
  • Experience leveraging data and insights to inform strategy

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in digital acquisition, lead generation, and conversion optimization across multiple sales models (e.g., self-service, assisted)
  • Familiarity with Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and/or Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC)
  • Master's degree in related field

Schedule & Location

  • This position is intended to be onsite, with regular work hours including full days in the office three or more days a week
  • Locations available: Birmingham, AL; Atlanta, GA; or Charlotte, NC

  • Regions will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position at this time; applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis

Compensation

  • Pay ranges are job specific and based on factors including experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location, and performance
  • Minimum Job Range Target: $239,743.35 USD
  • Median: $331,443.00 USD
  • This role is eligible to participate in the annual discretionary incentive plan based on individual, business, and/or company performance
  • Opportunity to participate in the Long Term Incentive Plan
