Digital Sales Manager

About the role

Audacy has an exciting digital division focused on providing local and regional businesses best-in-class solutions designed to help them aggressively compete across the web. The Digital Sales Manager must have sales experience in the digital space and be able to drive the company's revenue. The candidate must demonstrate a strong understanding and history of new business development, lead generation, pipeline management, and management of teams.

The anticipated starting salary range for California-based candidates is $125,000 to $150,000 plus bonus. Salary will be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, location, internal equity, and external market factors.

Responsibilities

• Participate on sales calls with the team of Audacy Account Executives.
• Consult local and regional businesses to understand their needs and aspirations so tailored digital solutions can be designed, implemented, and executed.
• Execute an overall business plan and sales strategy that ensures attainment of digital revenue goals.
• Provide continuous training on the Audacy sales process, products, operations, and sales story.
• Give feedback to the internal Digital Agency on opportunities to improve the product offering and positioning.
• Consult with sold clients on an ongoing basis regarding the performance of their purchased campaigns.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes.
• Achieve market digital sales goals.
• Educate sales managers and account executives on digital tools and opportunities.
• Hire and manage dedicated digital sales staff to sell digital properties.
• Create digital programs for client presentations.
• Develop innovative solutions to meet clients’ digital marketing needs.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• 4+ years of media-related experience selling digital platforms.
• Previous sales management experience.
• Subject matter expertise in digital marketing tactics (SEM, SEO, Display/Video, Social, Audio/Podcasts) and attribution measurement.
• Familiarity with prevailing internet technologies such as streaming media, DSP, ad tagging, agentic search, CRM, podcasting, blogging, PMax, and RSS.
• Experience developing and conducting training sessions for sales teams.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task, and a knack for meeting deadlines.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace (Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides) and ability to craft polished, impactful sales presentations.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• 4-year degree preferred, but experience is highly valued.
• Valid driver’s license, satisfactory motor vehicle record check, and proof of insurance if the position requires use of your own vehicle.
