About the role
The Digital Publications Specialist handles the final key stages of publishing codebooks and other relevant publications from ICC and its subsidiaries. They assist in post-processing PDF and other downloadable files to prepare them for posting in the ICC Shop, manage the posting of print publications, and ensure quality control and assurance on these files as they are posted.
Responsibilities
- Administration of ICC publications in the ICC store, including creation of new listings and managing existing listings
- Tracking document publishing dates and other go-live dates for PDF and print publications on the ICC shop for ICC and its subsidiaries
- Post-processing of PDF and other downloadable publications
- Quality assurance of publications in print and downloadable formats
- Generate user process documentation and user help guides as relevant to the job
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; some technical schooling preferred
- 3 years’ experience in relevant Information Technology fields
- Experience working with Adobe Acrobat, Framemaker, and InDesign a plus; Adobe certifications a plus
- Experience in content QA/QC a plus
- CSS, HTML, and XML skills a plus
- Experience working with other markup languages a plus
- Knowledge of user interface/web usability and information architecture principles a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer or desk
- Occasional standing, walking, and reaching to access files or office supplies
- Manual dexterity for typing, filing, and handling office equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds occasionally (e.g., office supplies, documents)
- Visual acuity to read printed and digital materials
- Auditory ability to communicate effectively in person and over the phone
- May need to climb stairs in a multi-level office building
- May be asked to travel up to 5-10% annually
Environmental Conditions
- Indoor office environment
- Must be able to work in a standard office environment with artificial lighting and climate control
Pay
$60,000–$75,000
