Digital Print Operator

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and monitor high-speed digital printing equipment.
• Review job tickets and production specifications to ensure accurate job setup.
• Load paper, ink, toner, and other consumables as required.
• Perform quality checks throughout production runs to ensure color consistency, print quality, registration, and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments to maintain optimal production performance.
• Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Cook up with Prepress, Data Processing, and Mail Operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and job completion.
• Monitor production schedules and prioritize jobs to meet customer deadlines.
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with company safety policies and operating procedures.
• Aid with cross-training and operation of other production equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous digital printing experience is preferred but not required.
• Experience operating Ricoh, Canon, HP, or Oce production printers is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions is required.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills are necessary.
• A strong attention to detail and commitment to quality are essential.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with digital print workflows are required.
• The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods is necessary.
