About the role

At Wyetech, you’ll be at the center of an award-winning corporate culture, breaking technological barriers and solving real-world problems for our federal government customers. Use information collected from various sources (e.g., intrusion detection systems, firewalls, network traffic logs, and host system logs) to identify potential vulnerabilities, respond to cyber events, and defend against threats. Help develop mitigations to strengthen network defenses and protect against attacks on network infrastructure devices or systems.

Your work may span data transport possibilities, including traditional wired networks, wireless transport (Wi-Fi and cellular), collaborative platforms like video teleconferencing, and the hardware and software supporting these systems. Advance your career as you develop expertise in networking protocols and architectures, cloud security, Internet of Things protocols, and advanced network security.

Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to develop shared understandings of intelligence needs, mission relevance, and areas of expertise. Apply analytical talent to form hypotheses, assess and choose analysis techniques, query, merge, enrich, evaluate, and pivot within data to attain and share insights. Distill, document, contextualize, and share findings—including new tradecraft—with teammates, stakeholders, and intelligence consumers.

Due to federal contract requirements, United States citizenship and an active TS/SCI security clearance with agency-appropriate polygraph are required.

Relevant experience and education combinations include:

  • Seven (7) years of experience and an Associate's Degree in Computer Science or related fields (Engineering, Mathematics), provided the program includes a concentration of courses in foundational CS areas: algorithms, computer architecture (not network architecture), programming methodologies and languages, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, discrete mathematics).
  • Five (5) years of experience and a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with the same coursework concentration as above.
  • Three (3) years of experience and a Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with the same coursework concentration as above.
  • Two (2) years of experience and a Doctorate Degree in Computer Science or related fields, with the same coursework concentration as above.

Completion of military training in a relevant area, such as JCAC (Joint Cyber Analysis Course), may count toward experience (e.g., a 24-week JCAC course counts as 6 months of experience). Information Technology (IT) and Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered relevant if the program’s coursework is equivalent to a Computer Science (CS) major.
