About the role

As a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst, you will evaluate target opportunities using all-source data to understand and map target networks, and assist in developing detailed exploitation and operations plans. You will analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data at multiple levels of the OSI network stack, bringing a solid understanding of logical/physical IP core infrastructure, communication devices, and network traffic movements.

You will be involved in developing new tradecraft as technologies evolve and collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to align intelligence needs, mission relevance, and expertise. Your role will involve forming hypotheses, selecting analysis techniques, querying and enriching data, and sharing insights with teammates and stakeholders.

You will distill, document, contextualize, and share findings—including any new tradecraft—with your team and intelligence consumers.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate target opportunities using all-source data to map target networks and develop exploitation plans.
  • Analyze SIGINT and cybersecurity data across the OSI network stack, including IP infrastructure, communication devices, and network traffic.
  • Develop new tradecraft to adapt to evolving technologies.
  • Collaborate with government, military, and contractor personnel to align on intelligence needs and mission relevance.
  • Form hypotheses, apply analysis techniques, and query, merge, enrich, and evaluate data to derive insights.
  • Document, contextualize, and share findings—including new tradecraft—with teammates and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science or a related field (e.g., Engineering, Mathematics) with a concentration in foundational CS areas such as algorithms, computer architecture, programming methodologies, data structures, logic and computation, and advanced mathematics (e.g., calculus, discrete mathematics).
  • Information Technology (IT) or Information Security (IS) degrees may be considered if they include equivalent coursework to a Computer Science major.
  • 2 years of applicable experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 4 years of applicable experience with an associate degree.
  • Relevant experience in computer or information systems design, development, or analysis, including roles in engineering hardware/software, programming, computer/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance, systems engineering, or network/systems administration.
  • Military training in a relevant area (e.g., JCAC—Joint Cyber Analysis Course) may count toward experience (e.g., a 24-week JCAC course may count as 6 months of experience).
  • Active clearance with Full-Scope Polygraph (FS Poly).

Pay

The proposed salary range for this position is $83,000–$120,000. Final salary may vary based on factors such as geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
