About the role

The Digital Marketing Specialist role is to measurably enhance, develop and build our customer and prospect experience through Amcor’s digital content channels, both owned and paid. This position has the responsibility of working in the Business Group Marketing and with the Product Marketing teams to build brand awareness and drive revenue growth across target audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Create digital inbound marketing and demand generation programs to drive traffic, engagement and qualified leads that deliver revenue growth and support customer retention.
  • Develop on-brand digital content for use in external campaigns and sales enablement, with an understanding of the customer, their challenges, Amcor solutions and best practices.
  • Deploy digital content including website, email, social media, SEM, display advertising and content syndication.
  • Create brand awareness and demand generation campaigns to targeted prospect and customer groups, with an understanding of the customer, their challenges, Amcor solutions and best practices.
  • Write and manage website copy, page layouts, SEO, user experience and Google Analytics.
  • Aid in managing leads, databases and data cleansing.
  • Lead and nurture the database.
  • Support traditional marketing communications including brand, advertising and event promotion.
  • Elevate corporate image and ensure that Amcor logos, brand guidelines and trademarks are used correctly in all promotional materials.
  • Manage media and trade show promotions independently.
  • Act as a safety leader and put safety first in all responsibilities.
  • Actively demonstrate and foster the Amcor Core Values of ethics, innovation, accountability and respect.
  • Uphold the organization’s brand and values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required - an emphasis in communications or marketing preferred.
  • 5+ years of digital marketing, agency or marketing communications experience.
  • Demonstrated exceptional AP copywriting, value proposition development, proofreading and editing experience, with comfort in a technical environment.
  • Packaging industry experience a plus.
  • Strong computer skills, including HubSpot or other marketing automation software, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads.
  • Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to the analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of time.

Skills

  • Exceptional AP copywriting, value proposition development, proofreading and editing experience.

  • Experience with digital marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Ads, etc.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Ability to manage and deploy digital content effectively.
  • Knowledge of SEO, user experience and Google Analytics.
  • Ability to manage and nurture leads and databases.
  • Experience with traditional marketing communications including brand, advertising and event promotion.
  • Ability to elevate corporate image and ensure correct usage of Amcor logos, brand guidelines and trademarks.
  • Ability to manage media and trade show promotions independently.
