Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist
About the role
Sellmark is seeking a creative and results-driven Digital Marketing & Communications Specialist to execute and support marketing and communications initiatives that strengthen brand awareness, engagement, and community growth.
Essential Duties And Tasks
Manage and execute social media activities across all major platforms.
Plan, schedule, publish, and optimize organic social content.
Execute paid social boosting and advertising to support campaigns.
Monitor platform/industry trends and audience behavior to inform content strategy.
Track and analyze performance metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Influencer, ProStaff, and Community Relations
Build and maintain relationships with influencers, brand ambassadors, and ProStaff members via social channels.
Coordinate content creation, posting schedules, and campaign participation with influencers and ProStaff.
Manage ProStaff and influencer databases, ensuring accurate records and performance tracking.
Engage directly with the social media community within the industry to strengthen brand loyalty.
Content & Brand Communications
Distribute promotional email campaigns.
Affiliate with distributing press releases when necessary.
Collaborate with internal teams on content direction, campaign messaging, and brand initiatives.
Perform additional duties as required to support the department's effective operation.
Qualifications
Strong understanding of social media platforms, tools, and analytics.
Experience with social media management and scheduling tools.
Working knowledge of digital advertising and paid social campaigns.
Creative thinking with and understanding of brand voice and audience engagement.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Detail-oriented with a data-driven mindset.
Education And Experience
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field.
0-2 years experience in digital marketing and communications.
Demonstrated success in managing integrated marketing campaigns.
Experience supporting, coordinating, and executing marketing campaigns and initiatives.
Exposure to content development, campaign performance tracking, and internal collaboration.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time. The employee may be required to bend, twist, reach, push, pull and operate office machinery and motor vehicles. Must be able to lift to (50) pounds.
WORK SCHEDULE/HOURS
The role primarily aligns with standard business hours; however, flexibility is essential to accommodate varying schedules based on business demands. This may include evening, weekend, and holiday shifts, as well as hours outside of typical departmental operations.
