Digital Marketing Associate, Credit Marketing & Communications

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Associate to help increase the visibility and engagement of our brands, products, and thought leadership across digital channels. In this role, you will lead the day-to-day management of our organic social media program, from content development and publishing to performance analysis and optimization.
Responsibilities
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop a strong understanding of credit brands, products, audiences, and business objectives.
- Build deep familiarity with the organization's research offerings, methodologies, and areas of expertise.
- Build knowledge of the credit ratings industry, competitive landscape, and key market trends.
- Own the day-to-day execution, growth, and optimization of organic social media channels, with a primary focus on LinkedIn.
- Develop and execute a content calendar that promotes research, market commentary, ratings, events, podcasts, thought leadership, and corporate initiatives.
- Translate complex financial, economic, and industry topics into clear, compelling, and engaging social media content for senior institutional audiences.
- Apply social media best practices to optimize content performance, including copywriting, content formatting, publishing cadence, audience engagement, and channel-specific tactics.
- Monitor industry news, market developments, and competitive activity to identify timely content opportunities and recommend new content ideas.
- Track, analyze, and report on key performance metrics, providing actionable recommendations to increase engagement, audience growth, and overall channel effectiveness.
- Support the execution, monitoring, and optimization of paid digital marketing campaigns across LinkedIn, Google Paid Search, Google Display, YouTube, and other digital channels.
- Support digital marketing processes and workflows, including campaign intake, project management, and campaign execution to ensure initiatives are delivered on time and on brief.
- Analyze website and campaign performance data, develop reports, and provide insights and recommendations to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience managing organic social media programs for a B2B organization, including content planning, content creation, publishing, and performance analysis; LinkedIn experience preferred.
- Excellent writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial, economic, and industry topics into clear, compelling social media content for professional audiences.
- Strong data-analysis skills with hands-on experience translating performance data into actionable recommendations that improve marketing performance.
- Exceptional attention to detail in both written and visual communications, with a proven ability to execute marketing initiatives accurately and efficiently.
- A track record of successfully collaborating with cross-functional teams as well as working independently and autonomously.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and prioritize work to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Curiosity, initiative, and a willingness to learn new skills, technologies, and industry concepts.

Pay
Base Salary Compensation Range $63,690.00-$93,404.66, Incentive Target Percentage 7.5% Annual

Morningstar's hybrid work environment gives you the opportunity to collaborate in-person each week, with a minimum of 4 days per week in the office.
