Digital Lab Technician - Modeling, Costa Rica

Key Responsibilities

• Processing of all scan types including: Third party STL data. CBCT data and Orascan.
• Create sufficient tooth and root models to be used for diagnostic or treatment purposes utilizing the scan data, photos and X-rays provided.
• Cross examination and inspection of the brackets and the data to ensure cases are compliant with Digital Lab protocols.
• Participate in team building and interdepartmental communication meetings.
• Provide feedback to team members, engineering and management for software enhancement suggestions or bugs related to the processing step.
• Maintain and renew all Digital Lab certifications annually.
• Meet and exceed all minimum production requirements designated by the Digital Lab Manager.
• Other duties and responsibilities not specifically described may be assigned from time to time at supervisor’s discretion.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• No previous experience is required.
• Knowledge of teeth, their function, and occlusion is a plus.
• Capable to read and understand in English (B2+ minimum / grammar-reading-listening).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Ability to be receptive to constructive feedback.
• Ability to learn from mistakes.
• Can solve small-medium sized problems independently and can contribute to solving larger problems as a team.

Qualifications

Highly skilled in using digital modeling software and techniques.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Proficiency in English (B2+ level).

Experience with dental scanning technologies such as CBCT and Orascan.

Basic understanding of dental anatomy and occlusion.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
