Digital Innovation and Delivery Lead

Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and Tech BPs to translate business needs into scalable digital and AI solutions that directly support and enable business growth.
• Define solution strategy, partnering with leading technology partners across China.
• Own end-to-end solution architecture and integration design, ensuring seamless interoperability across CRM, ERP, Data, Digital Commerce, and related platforms.
• Lead delivery excellence, governing vendor performance, solution quality, risk management, and on-time go-live.
• Manage the full delivery lifecycle, ensuring high-quality handover to BAU teams, including documentation, knowledge transfer, and code assets.
• Build and advance AI-native engineering capabilities, including intelligent automation, content platforms, data-driven decision making, and AI-assisted development approaches to improve engineering productivity.
• Enable China-specific innovation while maintaining alignment with global principles across cloud, AI, and digital platforms.
• Establish and run China enterprise architecture governance, chair the China architecture forum, and guide product and solution design based on business models, personas, and use cases.
• Lead modernization of the China application landscape, including application simplification, standardization, consolidation, DevOps best practices, multi-cloud architecture, security, regulatory compliance, and cost optimization.
• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing architecture and engineering team, fostering a culture of ownership, innovation, continuous learning, and strong collaboration with global and local stakeholders.

Requirements

• Strong experience in solution architecture, system integration, and complex delivery environments.
• Proven track record in vendor management and large-scale digital or data platform delivery.
• Experience with AI/data-driven solutions or modern engineering practices.
• Solid understanding of enterprise systems (CRM, ERP, Data, Digital Commerce).
• Experience with multi-cloud architecture (e.g. Azure and Alibaba Cloud), with the ability to design scalable solutions across global platforms and China digital ecosystems.
• Experience working with China digital ecosystems (e.g. Alibaba, Tencent, Douyin).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or relevant technical degree preferred.
• Ideal candidate would have built an impressive hands-on career to date in an advanced, recognized and innovative environment.

Skills

• Able to help decompose monolithic applications and incrementally move toward a more modern state, experience transforming legacy applications into modern, modular applications.
• Provide application architecture leadership, expertise, and solutions on complex initiatives.
• Strong technical foundation to guide the implementation of new and emergent technologies in a complex technology subject comprehensive business area including Digital Marketing, Consumer centric data insight, digital commerce business understanding, Supply Chain, RTM, Finance Ops and FMCG/Consumer Health industry experience etc.
• Sufficient experience in Agile ways of working, and professional certificates as PO/SCRUM master etc. would be preferred.
• Mature leadership to lead direct reports and non-direct reports team to align on the common goal and achieve the expected outcome.
• Senior leadership stakeholder management with global CTO, enterprise architect board, local D&T and cross functional business leadership stakeholders.
• Approach challenges head on with creativity, ideation, determination and passion that influence others to do so.
• Enjoy coding, learning agility in new technology and coach others.
